Startup Parameters provide you with the capability to specify many different values for a single parameter. When you configure a Sensor, the startup parameters available will be based on those specified here. You may add, edit, and delete startup parameters within the SConnector Admin area. You must have SC-Wide privileges to add, edit, or delete startup parameters. You may only view SConnector startup params if you have admin on an SC or Sensor.

Adding Startup Parameters

1. Click the Admin tab.
2. Click the SConnector Admin tab.
3. You will see a table of SConnectors. Click the name of the SConnector to which you would like to add startup parameters.
4. Click the Startup Params tab.
5. Cick the Add Startup Params tab.
6. Enter the type of parameter for the startup param option you want to add. Or, choose from the dropdown list of existing parameter types for this SConnector.
7. Enter the value and description for the option.
8. If this is a new type of startup parameter, choose the order that the parameter will be sent to the game server. Parameters with a lower order will be sent to the Sensor sooner than other paramters. If you chose an existing type, the value for Order is already set.
9. Click the Add Parameter button.

Editing Startup Parameters

1. Click the Admin tab.
2. Click the SConnector Admin tab.
3. You will see a table of SConnectors. Click the name of the SConnector to which you would like to edit parameters.
4. Click the Startup Parameters tab.
5. You will see lists of startup parameter types for both the SConnector and its parent. To view values for each type, click the "Available Values" checkbox for that parameter type.
6. If you have SC-Wide privileges, you will see an edit icon (). Click the edit icon for a parameter type to edit its values.
7. You may change the Order, and type, value, and description for any parameter option for the type. To edit another parameter type without saving any changes you have made, select another type from the "Parameter Type" dropdown list.
8. Click the Edit Parameters button to save any changes.

Deleting Startup Parameters

1. Click the Admin tab.
2. Click the SConnector Admin tab.
3. You will see a table of SConnectors. Click the name of the SConnector from which you would like to delete startup parameters.
4. Click the Startup Params tab.
5. Click the Remove Startup Params tab.
6. You may delete startup parameters from either this SConnector or its parent. You may delete an entire type of startup parameter, or individual parameters from any group. To delete an entire group, click the remove icon () next to the parameter type. To remove individual parameters (of any type), select the checkbox for that parameter and click the Delete button.
