This help page discusses editing system-wide permissions for users. For information on editing user privileges on an individual Sensor or groups of servers, see the Related Topics listed below.
If you have system-wide privileges, such as User-Wide, SC-Wide, or SCM-Wide, you may grant system-wide permissions to other users. You will see only columns for system privileges that you have yourself, since you can only grant or revoke system-wide privileges that you have yourself. System-wide privileges allow many powerful actions and should only be granted to trusted users.
To edit system-wide privileges for users:
- Click the Admin tab.
- You are now in the Users Admin section. Click the System Privs tab.
- The table displayed shows a list of users for whom you may grant or remove privileges. Depending on your system-wide privs, columns for SC-, SCM-, and User-Wide will be displayed. You may check or uncheck the boxes in the table to grant or remove privs for each user.
- When you are satisfied with any changes you want to make, click the Save Changes button.
