To modify an SCM, you must have administrator privileges on that SCM. The following table explains the attributes that you may modify.

FieldDescription
Server NameThe name for this SCM.
AddressThe hostname of the machine on which the SCM resides. This must match the output of the 'hostname -f' command on that machine.
PortThe port on which you would like this SC to communicate with the SCM.
LogsDBLocation of the SCM Logs database.
ServerDBLocation of the Servers database.



To modify an SCM:
  1. Click the Admin tab.
  2. Click the SCManager Admin tab.
  3. If there are SCMs available to modify, you will see a table of SCMs. Click on the name of the SCM you would like to modify.
  4. Click the Modify SCM tab.
  5. You will now see the fields you may modify, and the current value for each. Make the necessary changes to any or all of the fields.
  6. Click the Modify SCM button. A success or failure message will display on the page.
