For changes that apply to multiple SCMs, you can make them all at once. The only field you can modify for multiple SCMs is Port. This page is mainly useful for systems with multiple SCMs when you would like to implement load-balancing across synchronized SCMs, and ensure that all SCMs are listening on the same port. You must have Admin privileges on each SCM you would like to modify.

FieldDescription
PortThe port on which you would like the SCM to listen for commands from user interfaces (UIs).

To modify multiple SCMs:
  1. Click the Admin tab.
  2. Click the SCManager Admin tab.
  3. You now see a list of SCMs on which you have Admin privileges. Mark each SCM for modification by clicking its checkbox.
  4. Click the Modify Multiple Servers button.
  5. You now see a list of SCMs, and the fields that you may edit. Enter values in one or all of the fields. If you do not enter a value for a field, that field will not be changed on any of the SCMs.
  6. When you are satisfied with the changes, click the Modify Listed SCMs.
  7. You now see a confirmation screen listing the SCMs and the changes that will be applied to them. If you are satisfied with these changes, click Yes.
