SCInterface allows you to schedule monitors and triggers on a given device. You can create and delete monitors, and view, graph, or delete results from existing monitors.
Monitor Status:
A trigger is dependent upon the monitor running in order for the trigger to be invoked. If the monitor is not in a (↑) state, the trigger will not function. This is because triggers are only invoked when a new value is recorded for the monitor. Below are the statuses used to determine the state of a monitor:
- (↔) - A monitor is pending. The monitor has not started recording results. The current time for the monitor must be between the 'Start' and 'Stop' time for the monitor in order to it to change to the running (↑) state.
- (↑) - The monitor is running and recording data (the SC must be online and the device must be accessible).
- (↓) - The monitor has stopped and no data is currently being recorded. Any triggers assigned to this monitor will have no affect on the application or device. The monitor must be in a running state in order for the triggers to operate correctly.
